Photographs in commission or delivered from the large photo archive of three decades black-and-white and colour photography of Adriana Sjan Bijman. Specialised in nature, flowers and ecology, landscapes,community life at the Findhorn Foundation Community, people as well as organic farming and gardening. Archive with photography about the womens movement, squatting- and peace movement in the 70s and 80s. Adriana Sjan Bijman's beautiful photographs have been used on Record/CD/DVD covers, posters, leaflets, websites and magazines in Europe over many years.

Vrouwenbeweging Haarlem. Affiesje voor het Vrouwentheater in Haarlem (1986). In de 70er en 80er jaren was Sjan Bijman heel aktief in de nederlandse vrouwenbeweging. Veel werk werd door haarzelf gedrukt in het Drukhuis Haarlem. Het IIAV en Hollandse Hoogte in Amsterdam en Spaarnestad Photo archief in Haarlem hebben haar affiesjes en foto’s uit die tijd in de collectie, alswel te leen voor publicatie.

“Pride & Prejudice: The Dance of Our Lesbian Lives”. This poster was designed specifically for a Findhorn Foundation lesbian week. I wanted to support this work(with this poster). I used a wedding photo of Ina and Gerda out of my large photo-archive of women to joyfully show the pride of being a woman who loves women. Archives: ExhibitionPoster. In 1985 exposeerde fotografe Sjan Bijman haar werk in de Rietveld Academie te Amsterdam. De Soli-exposities voor minder dan vijf jaar afgestudeerde kunstenaars werden jaarlijks gehouden.(Design Corrie Brakel)
