In the 70s and 80s Sjan Bijman has been deeply involved in the Women’s Liberation Movement in the Dutch town of Haarlem as well as nationally in the Netherlands. The IIAV in Amsterdam and the Spaarnestad Photo in Haarlem lend out this work for publication.
