Love Shack in Cullerne Gardens with Waterlillies blossoming in the pond.
For me the Love Shack with the blossoming Water Lillies in the Sunshine is magnificent romantic beauty. I love to sit on the swinging chair with a chocolate ice cream and talk to the Elm tree next to the Love Shack. That is a moment of Paradise for me.
© Almut Brandl 2007

Lois: Almut's bravery and courage, strength and beauty made me pick up her camera and make this photo in the magic of the woodlands.
Almut: In the Pine tree next to the mountainbike ramp in the Park I am doing a Monkey Roll on the trapeze. Ruaraidh´s appearance and me learning the trapeze has been THE miracle of 2007 and in my life so far.
© Lois MacDonald 2007

I think its such a great picture because it shows why the paintings are such an important feature of the Hall. I also love the variety of people in the Hall for the concert.
© Peter Vallance 2007
web site www.peterthestoryteller.co.uk

It is a bit difficult to explain why the people walking in a line through the dunes is a favorite to me. To me it looks very funny. This is not the usual way a group would walk and pictures like this you can only take in Findhorn. Outside from Findhorn people rather walk in crowds (as they do in Findhorn too usally). And in relation to meditation and alignment with higher realms as practised in Findhorn I thought this is a different kind of alignment or else an a-line-men-t (perhaps a-line-men-and women-t)
Alignment - © Daria Sommer 2007

Greendaze Thomas - But Tammy loves you in that hat! My last day in Scotland and I wanted a visual memory of Thomas in his greenhouse. The hat was such a bonus. Isn't he just precious in it?
photo: © Tammy Vapaamies

Tom-Tom Wolf Mugging at Angie Alexander's 40th Bash. Love this photo because it reminds me of the love and comraderie shared by all who attended Ang's Birthday Bash. Thomas' mother was also there, but we don't have pics. So special and bittersweet as this was one of Thomas' last parties at Will and Ang's.
© Tammy Vapaamies 2007

The Memory of Delight It is a favorite because I know Delight is being retired and I spent so many wonderful moments there with my Thomas. Rowan Tree sharing her gracious wisdom and the morning deer munching breakfast on the old rose...if I close my eyes, I can be there in a moment...I shall always cherish the Memory of Delight.
© Tammy Vapaamies 2007

Made in December. A simple but impressive work on the beach, in the dunes. A stone-tower in front of the blue shimmering sea.
why: the timeless quality of my creations is very inspiring. Even the tower has been gone next day, it looks like a stable, proud monument that watches over the sea and the dunes as if it has been there forever. Again it reflects the various colorful nature, that one can find on the beach. Giving it aspecial shape shows its character. Beauty within the beauty.
©: Dietmar Voorwold 2007

Made on a sunny day in July, a color-metamorphose of stones in front of the sand, the rocks, the sea and the sky.
The most loved motive of my exhibition.
why: the composition is simply harmonious and gives the impression of a big family (choir). Because the beach is my favourite place around, where I spent many many hours doing my meditative Art with the beautiful pebbles.
© Dietmar Voorwold 2007
A sunny day in December. The sun never gets high in this time of the year, so the shadows are very long. The playful way of making that photo is reflected by the shadow of myself. I always feel happy on the beach. That*s it.
why: the composition of the sand, stones and the sea between the dunes is an intense colorful impression of the beach. Even it has been very cold, it gives the feeling of a warm bright day in the desert.
© Dietmar Voorwold

Storm at Findhorn Beach at sunset. In heavy raingear I was lying -during what seemed hours- on the beach: Prepared for the worst, I received absolute bliss. For that reason one of my favourites of 2007.
© Adriana Sjan Bijman
http://www.adrianasjanbijman.co.uk

Art-director Randy Klinger during the building fase of the Moray Art Centre in Findhorn. He is standing like a conductor of an orchestra, what he in fact was, as this whole project of building the Art Centre sounded like worldmusic to me. The idea, the eco-building, his way of believing in it and manifesting the money to make this happen, has been absolutely FABULOUS. An example to many of us. So a favourite in different ways.
© Adriana Sjan Bijman April 2007
www.adrianasjanbijman.co.uk
